We are excited to announce a series of significant system enhancements that will improve functionality and usability across the platform. These updates, which include over 100 new fields, label changes, and much more, will go live beginning on February 4th. We encourage all members to familiarize themselves with these enhancements.
Key Enhancements:
1. Multiple Listing & Cooperating Salesperson.
Up to 4 Listing Sales Representatives can now be added to a single listing.
Up to 4 Co-operating Sales Representatives can be added when a listing is sold.
Sales Representatives can belong to different brokerages or boards, enhancing collaboration.
Note: Only the primary Listing Salesperson (Salesperson1) will be able to edit the listing for now. Future updates will allow any Listing Salesperson to edit, and we’ll notify you once this feature is available.
2. Square Footage
The MPAC API will activate on February 4th, automatically populating the "Above Grade Square Footage" field with the MPAC value when entering a listing.
This field will be mandatory for all new listings from February 17, 2025 onward.
Listings with a commencement date prior to February 17, 2025, will not trigger the mandatory requirement.
Square Footage Backfill: Starting February 11, 2025, PropTx will backfill square footage data for historical listings:
Listings with clear square footage will be updated from the historic database.
Listings lacking square footage will be updated with MPAC data for properties active since January 1, 2024.
Retroactive updates from MPAC will be marked in red and indicate the data came from MPAC.
3. Waterfront Listings – Searchability Update
The searchability of the “Waterfront Y/N” field has been enhanced, making it searchable in both REALM™ and Matrix™. This change addresses previous concerns and ensures better accessibility for waterfront listings.
4. Photos & Attachments
The number of photos allowed per listing will increase from 40 to 50.
The maximum number of attachments per listing will increase to 15.
Attachments will now be viewable in Matrix™ just as they are in REALM™, applicable to both current and unavailable listings.
5. Number of Rooms
Users can now enter up to 99 bedrooms and 99 total rooms per listing.
The interface will allow continued addition of rooms as they are entered.
Note: All rooms must have dimensions entered, and enforcement of this will commence March 1, 2025.
6. Offer Remarks
A new Offer Remarks field will be added to the to capture details for preparing offers, aligned with seller instructions per OREA Form 244.
7. Communities/Neighbourhoods Update
PropTx has updated the mapping for each board area to reflect preferred community/neighbourhood boundaries. This will begin on February 4th, with the process expected to be completed by April 15, 2025.
8. Missing Photos
PropTx has identified approximately 1 million listings with missing or incomplete photos. This issue will be resolved by mid-March.
9. Listings Not Displaying in Matrix™
PropTx has completed an audit and confirmed that all listings have been successfully transferred to Matrix™. Some listings may not be displaying due to system updates, however, anything that is on REALM is now comparable to what is in Matrix™. Corelogic is working on resolving any remaining discrepancies, and the process will be complete by February 17, 2025.

Upcoming Enhancements
We are committed to improving your experience with PropTx and have several enhancements planned, including:
An increase in idle time-out to 60 minutes for REALM™ and Matrix™.
The ability to enter room dimensions in both metric and imperial units.
A maximum of 300 search results and 250 client prospects.
Brokerage Listing and Transaction Carts for Brokers of Record.
Search by Salesperson Name for active listings.
More functionality for Listing Sales Representatives, including the ability for all Sales Representatives on a listing to edit the details.
Habistat Enhancements
A ranking report for each user of the PropTx MLS® System.
A personal production report and a brokerage production report available in dashboards.
A Broker of Record account will be available for $600 per year, allowing full access to Sales Representative production data.
