ARISS, ON | June 18, 2025 - OnePoint REALTORS® came together at Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club for a day that was about far more than just golf. It was a powerful reminder of why community matters — especially in a profession where free time and connection can be hard to come by.
This wasn’t just our first REALTOR® Golf Tournament. It was the start of something bigger: a fresh season of face-to-face networking, shared laughter, and the kind of camaraderie that only happens when REALTORS® from across different brokerages come together as peers.
We kicked off with a 10AM shotgun start and the kind of excitement you only get when the coffee’s strong and the weather’s promising. But by 10:37AM, nature had other plans. Lightning and rain rolled in, sending golfers back to the clubhouse.
Thanks to quick thinking from our team and the flexibility of our members, we pivoted instantly — rolling out a BBQ burger lunch and creating space for REALTORS® to gather, chat, and connect.
Conversations that might never happen during a normal workday were suddenly flowing: agents swapping stories, veterans offering advice, and new members feeling welcomed into the fold.
When the skies cleared, many returned to the course, determined to play on. But even when rain returned later in the afternoon, spirits stayed high. The energy in the room was undeniable as members tucked into an early steak and chicken dinner, cheered each other on during prize draws, and celebrated the Grand Prize winner who walked away with a Chilly Moose 75L Cooler in Canoe Red.
This day reminded us why events like these are so essential.
It’s easy to feel isolated in a profession that consists of mainly independent contractors. Most REALTORS® work within the four walls of their own home, team department, or brokerage — rarely crossing paths with others in the profession unless there’s a deal on the table.
But we know that the strength of our industry doesn’t lie in isolation. It lies in collaboration. It lies in knowing each other, sharing best practices, and learning how to grow — not just as individuals, but as a professional community.
At OnePoint, that’s our role. We don’t just represent REALTORS®. We bring them together. We build the spaces — virtual and in-person — where relationships can form, support systems can grow, and shared knowledge can elevate everyone. The stronger our member connections, the stronger the service we all provide to clients and communities across the region.
What stood out most at Ariss Valley wasn’t just the flexibility or the fun (though there was plenty of both). It was the extraordinary spirit of our members. REALTORS® who showed up ready for anything, who laughed through the rain, who embraced the moment, and made the most of every minute together.
To each of you who attended — thank you. You made this event what it was, and reminded us why we do what we do.
We can’t wait to do it all again — next stop: Mitchell Golf & Country Club on July 16. See you there!
