REALTORS® Urge Focus on Housing Solutions Following Ontario Election

ONTARIO, FEBRUARY 28 - The OnePoint Association of REALTORS® (OnePoint) congratulates all newly elected and returning Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) on their success in the Ontario election. With housing affordability and supply remaining as top concerns for Ontarians, OnePoint looks forward to working with the provincial government and all parties to advance policies that support homeownership, affordability, and responsible growth.

Ontario has taken important steps in recent years to address barriers to homebuilding, speed up approvals, and invest in critical infrastructure—key actions that help families, first-time buyers, and newcomers secure housing. Moving forward, it is essential that all elected representatives remain committed to bold solutions that increase housing supply and ensure more Ontarians can find a place to call home.

OnePoint stands ready to collaborate with the Ontario government, opposition parties, and policymakers at all levels to champion initiatives that make homeownership more accessible, reduce barriers to development, and create thriving communities across the province.

Congratulations once again to Premier Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party on securing a third consecutive majority government, as well as to all MPPs dedicated to addressing Ontario’s housing needs. OnePoint looks forward to working together to deliver real solutions for homebuyers, sellers, and renters in our communities.

Sincerely,
